The Statuettes are a Salt Lake City pop/rock band that formed in 2008. Michael Gross was previously a member, and songwriter for the band The Brobecks until his departure in 2007. After a brief stint with his side project Let’s Become Actors, Michael recorded a solo album in the spring of 2008 entitled “Tales From a Country Home”. Shortly after the albums release Michael formed a real life band around this project.

The Statuettes were born. The band has shared the stage with such artists as The Lemonheads, Miniature Tigers, Milagres, Eve 6, These United States, Alpha Rev, The Audition, Small Pools, and many more. They have also toured consistently around the western United States since the bands inception. 

In 2011 the band signed a music licensing deal with Bleed 101 out of Los Angeles, and has had their music featured on a variety of television networks including: ABC, NBC, USA, FX, and MTV to name a few.

The current lineup consists of Michael Gross (vocals, guitar), Jimmy Kelly (guitar, keys), Ben Johnson (bass, keys), and Todd Hammond (Drums)
The band has independently released four E.P.’s, two singles, two full-length albums, and a cover of the Sneaker Pimps’ “Six Underground”. Their third full-length album is set to be released on August 26th, 2016.
